This exhibit at the Ava Gardner Museum provides a detailed look at one of Ava Gardner’s films. I led the curation of this new exhibit by researching, selecting artifacts, writing exhibit copy and artifact labels, planning the flow and layout, and installing artifacts. The exhibit about Ava Gardner’s role in Pandora and the Flying Dutchman (1951) and its impact on her life and career also shares how the film was marketed internationally and information about its recent restoration. Graphic design by Donna Bailey-Taylor, board member of the Ava Gardner Museum. Text editing by Lora Stocker, board member of the Ava Gardner Museum and Lynell Seabold, executive director. Exhibit installed in 2020 and remains on view.
