I completed a general collections preservation assessment for the Watts School of Nursing’s History Project, whose collection includes both archival and artifact collections related to the history of the nursing school and the nursing profession. I made site visits and assessed the overall conditions of the building, storage space, storage containers, collection items, and environment. I then wrote a report documenting the current conditions and making recommendations for how to improve the preservation of the collection, prioritizing which steps could have the most impact.
